7.8Very good
Location easy access to ribiera and restaurants
Bar waiter not very helpful - we could not get a bottle of wine on the evening we arrived. 9-30Pm I was not asked if I needed a drink at any time I was arround the pool area

7.4Very good
It was clean and friendly with a great rooftop bar and pool. We could have breakfast sent to our rooms too. Location was great for us but if you only want the centre then you may not like the travel. (Although the tram and bus stops are just outside)
The room with a land view is noisy! We stayed in a sea view room previously and that was better.
-
8.2Great
We really enjoyed the views from the rooftop terrace and the area in which the hotel was located is quite cozy, offers some nice restaurants and is at perfect distance to the city centre (45min walking, 20 min bus).
The adverised swimming pool wasn´t available for swimming and the breakfast could be slightly upgraded.
-
8.8Great
The hotel was very pleasant, with a rooftop pool, lounge area, and bar/restaurant. Beautiful view of the ocean. Far enough away from the downtown to really relax. In a nice semi-residential area, though there were interesting shops and restaurants nearby. Parking was available in front of the hotel for free every time we needed it. Breakfast was good.
Internet access was expensive and of limited duration. It is a bit of a drive to downtown Porto.
-
9.2Perfect
This hotel looks on to an old fortress on the Atlantic coast in a nice neighborhood on the west side of Porto minutes from the town center by bus and a very pleasant half-hour walk along the Douro River on foot. Request a balcony room as we had and you can enjoy the sea breezes over a bottle of port wine.
Breakfast was served in a windowless room, a real letdown given the several terraces the hotel has.

7.8Very good
Location with lovely views of Foz; fairly easy access to Airport and to town centre; very friendly and efficient reception staff
It can´t be helped now, but internal spatial arrangement is not ideal. There are awkward changes in level in some circulation areas and also in at least some bedrooms. In the latter (in mine, anyway), the wooden floor cracked when you treaded on it and... Mind the steps too...

7.8Very good
Good hotel with friendly staff and a rooftop pool. Great location, close to beach, shops, restaurants and cafes - casa aberta (cafe/shop) is highly recommended. Stunning views and an ideal hotel for a really relaxing break.
The beds are a bit hard and if you are looking to stay in central porto this hotel would be too far out.

10.0Perfect
We liked everything about this hotel. Especially sitting on the terrace of the hotel at night with a beautiful view. Nice staff, excellent breakfast. We will definetely return some day soon.

10.0Perfect
The breakfast was one of the best that I have had on my holiday

10.0Perfect
This was my third visit to the hotel, and I hope to go there again next year. It is a perfect spot for a city break, as you get the city and beach.
-
7.8Very good
Nice location outside Porto, near the sea, easy 15 min travel into the city on the bus with a 3 day tourist travel card (15 euro, highly recommended), helpful staff, clean, pool on the roof.
Poor breakfast, limited choice, and quality, reconstituted scrambled eggs (yuk), coffee awful given quality coffee everywhere else. Go out for breakfast locally. Not much information at all about sights to see and other locations on offer in the area by hotel.
-
8.2Great
Nice position near the sea, very good breakfast, swimming pool.

10.0Perfect
This is a luxury value-for-money hotel.
Rooms good size Recently modernised and refurbished. Well maintained. Bar -snack bar, value, good "easy"

8.8Great
Boa Vista is located in a great position. It is very close to a very clean beach, in fact the whole area is spotless. The hotel is well maintained, the foyer area has contempory decore, however the rooms slightly dated, but clean and tidy. For those who like to catch the sun there is a roof top swimming pool and open areas to do just that.
My room was at the front of the hotel and I did experience some road noise from the cobbled streets outside. It did not bother me too much, however for some people it may be unaceptable.

8.0Great
The rooftop terrace, pool, restaurant and bar were lovely. Room very clean.
Room very small. Paid for internet but could not get online, found the woman on reception very unhelpful.
