We hit up Praia do Ourigo and Praia do Carneiro, both just a quick walk away. The hotel had a rooftop pool that was a great place to chill out, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was solid and had plenty of options. Also, easy to grab a taxi into town for about €7!
One downside was the bar prices. drinks felt a bit overpriced compared to local spots, which was a bummer.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room. It was spacious and had a comfy bed. The decor had a vintage feel, which I liked. Super clean and quiet, so I slept really well. The balcony offered a nice view, and there was a jacuzzi bath, bonus! The only downside was breakfast—it was pretty basic, mostly continental with not much variety. But the coffee was good!

Aircon was dodging my coolness request at night, and the pool had more flies than a picnic! Talk about a summer bug party!

The hotel offered a great location near the beach with lovely views, and the gym had decent equipment. However, the room was small and lacked a bedside table, and the breakfast variety could be improved. Overall, it was a decent choice for a few days away.

comfortable rooms but cafeteria vibes
The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night. I also appreciated the outstanding cleanliness of the entire hotel, which really enhanced my stay.
The breakfast area felt more like a cafeteria than a pleasant dining experience.
